Lutong Bahay is a wordless children’s storybook created as a plate for a course on production methods. It is inspired by the onomatopoeias “crack” and “sizzle” when frying eggs. The illustrations are rendered in isometric view with flat earthy tones.

The story is about a mother and child who run a family restaurant set in a fantasy world, much like ‘karinderias’ in the country. It hopes to inspire family bonding through food.
